Dr. Madeleine Cosman, Esq. Sustainable Medicine attacks products of high technology, such as life-sustaining flexible medical tubing softened by phthalates used in breathing tubes, blood transfusion, kidney dialysis, and heart catheters. Sustainable Medicine attacks ideas of medical progress and inculcates a duty to die. Sustainable Medicine is the central idea of UN Agenda 21, Chapter 6, and all other Sustainable Development. Just as Sustainable Development is a Land Grab in favor of equity, economy, and environment, so Sustainable Medicine is a Body Grab. The only high tech medicine permissible is whatever can be shared by all people globally. Principle 1 of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development states: Human beings are... entitled to a healthy... life in harmony with nature. (1992). Sustainable Medicine requires 1) medical equity among peoples globally, 2) medical equity among generations: by Precautionary Principle, current assets for life-enhancing medicine and surgery must not be spent but saved for future generations, and 3) medical equity among species: any medicine providing people good quality of life but damaging animals, plants, or the environment must be banned.

Dr. Dean's work on "Death by Medicine" proved that 784,000 people die prematurely every year in the U.S. due to modern medicine. This paper stunned the health community and propelled her into greater advocacy regarding the abuse of medications and the suppression of dietary supplements. Her March 2005, publication, Death by Modern Medicine, is a formidable book that is shaking the monopolistic roots of modern medicine and waking people up to the deep crisis in our health care system.
