Sustainable Development - The Real Matrix
|
Dr. Steven Yates - demonstrates his deep insight into the
foundations of freedom in his essay series entitled The Real
Matrix. His books, articles, and blog (itshappeninghere.blogspot.com)
inspire freedom lovers everywhere. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy
in 1987 and teaches philosophy at University of South Carolina Upstate
in Spartanburg, S.C. This fall semester he will also be joining the
adjunct faculty at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, S.C.
He has been an adjunct scholar with the Ludwig von Mises Institute
since 2002. His opening presentation will highlight the principles of
freedom that must never be infringed upon in the name of Sustainable
Development.

The Roots of Freedom

Joan Veon - will discuss the advancement of Global
Governance. She will have just returned from Scotland where she
attended the G8 meeting. For the last ten years she has been
following the topic of global taxation. Learn how the United Nations
is being structured, who the players are, and how the U.S. fits into
the whole scheme.

Floy Lilley - No one understands, or articulates, the
principles of freedom better than Floy Lilley. Hear how equal justice
as a corollary to individual freedom versus manipulating society into the
theory of "social justice," where the freedom to express, the freedom
of enterprise and the freedom of individuality are eliminated. Don't miss her
presentation.

Straight Thinking About Energy and the Environment
|
Dr. Fred Singer - is the preeminent authority on the real
science concerning climate change. Hear his analysis on the science of
global warming, debunking the "consensus."

Sustainable Development Internationally
|
Paul Driessen - author of Eco-Imperialism: green power;
black death, will discuss what happens when freedom is lacking.
Hear how the banning of DDT and other tools needed to create a
prosperous life, have advanced many of the world's problems.

Dr. Bonner Cohen - a frequent participant at U.N. meetings
around the world, will discuss when fear mongers, not science,
determine public policy. Dr. Cohen appears regularly as
a commentator on radio and television and his articles have appeared
in Forbes, The Weekly Standard, National Review, Investor's Business
Daily, Journal of Commerce and other publications.

Dr. Michael Coffman - will discuss how private property rights
could end the persistent poverty that plagues much of the world, and
how the freedom movement can help. Dr. Coffman developed the maps
that were crucial to the defeat of the Convention on Biological
Diversity, and has authored several books, and the Freedom 21 Alternative to
Agenda 21.
